Notes from the build.
What we are making, why it should feel calm, and what comes next.
What Aospix Files can do in this first build
Aospix Files is the native file manager for the desktop we are building: places, trash, tabs, and an AI preview that is still mocked and off by default.

What the Aospix journal will share next
The next Aospix journal notes cover the vision, the build, and the people making this Linux desktop, in that order.
A desktop that stays out of the way
What Aospix means by a calmer Linux desktop: less noise, faster everyday tasks, and a system you can shape around real work.
Why we are building Aospix in public
